Kate joined the staff at Fordham in 2006 as the assistant vice president for university marketing and communications. She came to Fordham from American University in Washington, D.C., where she served as the senior director of marketing and communications.
Kate has held a variety of leadership positions in marketing for the Fairfax County Park Authority Division of Historic Preservation, Headquarters U.S. Marine Corps Division of Morale, Welfare and Recreation, and the U.S. Army Headquarters Division of Morale, Welfare and Recreation. She has also worked in fundraising as the Director for Special Programs at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Kate is currently a member of CASE, the American Marketing Association and the Public Relations Society of America. She served as the Higher Education Marketing Shared Interest Group leader for AMA and was a board member for the AMA's Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education annual conference. She has served as judge for marketing materials for University Council for Educational Administration and is chairing the 2014 JAA marketing materials awards panel.
Kate holds a B.A. from Hunter College of the C.U.N.Y.
