Mary Bly, Ph.D. eloisajames.comProfessor of English at Fordham University

Mary Bly is a Shakespeare professor at Fordham University and, as Eloisa James, a New York Times bestselling author of historical romance novels. Her most recent novel has just been nominated for the prestigious Kirkus Award for Fiction and is included on Amazon's list of Best Novels/2014. She also wrote a memoir about the year her family moved to France, the bestseller Paris in Love, written, as the Chicago Tribune wrote, with "a dry sense of wit and an elegant sense of style." She's the mother of two children and, in a particularly delicious irony for a romance writer, is married to a genuine Italian knight.
