Michelle BernardinAssociate Director of Development for Women and Philantrophy at Loyola Marymount University

Michelle Bernardin is Loyola Marymount University's associate director of development for women and philanthropy, and program director of LMU's Women's Leadership Council. She worked for 10 years at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, managing the museum's two volunteer support councils and the internal logistics for the annual fundraising events. She has also worked at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and The Getty Center. For the past three years, she has also served as a member of Cultural Affairs Commission for the city of Culver City, Calif. She was elected president of the Culver City Historical Society in January 2014.

Michelle is a native of Culver City and a third-generation Californian. She earned a B.A. in art history at UCLA, and continued her graduate work in art history and museum studies at Tufts University in Massachusetts. She is an avid foodie, enjoys baking in her kitchen, and loves sharing the exploits of both on social media.
